Overcoming Spirit’s of Rejection

April 08, 20231 min read

Rejection can be a difficult thing to overcome, but it's not impossible. Here are some tips that may help you overcome the spirit of rejection:

1. Acknowledge that you were rejected. To acknowledge means we accept the truth; we have been rejected. Acceptance has nothing to do with deserving rejection or being responsible for it.

2. Read and study your Identity in Christ.

3. Surround yourself with people who genuinely love and affirm you.

4. Pray for courage to climb over or disregard rejection.

5. Flee from unforgiveness and bitterness.

Prayer and fasting times is the main way to overcome the spirit of rejection². Continually pray by binding and casting away that spirit until it disappears completely³. Always replace it with the spirit of favor². The third powerful weapon is the Blood of Jesus Christ²³.

Here's a prayer that may help you be delivered of this spirit:

"Dear Lord, I come before you today asking for your help in overcoming the spirit of rejection that has been plaguing me for so long. I ask that you would fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me the strength to overcome this spirit once and for all. I pray that you would help me to forgive those who have hurt me and to let go of any bitterness or unforgiveness that I may be holding onto. I ask that you would replace the spirit of rejection with your spirit of favor and blessing, and that you would help me to see myself as you see me - as a beloved child of God who is worthy of love and acceptance. Thank you for your love and grace, Lord. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."²

I hope this helps!

Sow Into The Kingdom of God!

Malachi 3:10 - “Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”
